Buddy List

Here you can add Buddy numbers. An SMS alert will be send to ALL your buddies if a new SIM card is detected in your phone. When you add a buddy, an SMS will be sent to let him know you have added him as a buddy. You can add up to 9 buddies.

How to remotely lock your phone

Send an SMS with "Wslite lock <PIN>" e.g. "Wslite lock 123456" to the current phone number.
To customize your lock screen message, send: "Wslite lock <PIN> <Your message>"
To make it scream, send: "Wslite lock alarm <PIN>" or with custom message "Wslite lock alarm <PIN> <Your message>"

Remote wipe

With WaveSecure Lite, you can remotely wipe your phone’s contacts, SMS, photos, videos and SD card contents. Send an SMS with "Wslite wipe <PIN>" e.g. “Wslite wipe 123456” to the current phone number to wipe your data.

How to locate your phone

Send an SMS with "Wslite locate <PIN>" e.g. "Wslite locate 123456" to locate your phone. The phone will reply back with a SMS containing a website link which you can use to view the phone’s location on a map. If someone steals your phone and changes the SIM, you will need to SMS the new number to lock or wipe it remotely, check with your buddy for this number!

Settings

Default Lock message

This is the message that will appear on your phone whenever it is locked. You may customize this message to suit your needs – for example, an alternate contact number can be displayed on the lock screen or a reward offered for the return of the phone. You can add your buddy numbers to the message by putting a "{0}" in the message, this will be replaced by the buddy numbers when the lock message is displayed.

Auto Lock

If you turn this option ON, your phone will be automatically locked whenever a new SIM card is detected.

Enable Alarm

If you turn this option ON, your phone will sound an alarm whenever its auto-locked (when a new SIM card is detected).

Send Location

If you turn this option ON, your phone will send its location to the buddy numbers whenever its auto-locked (when a new SIM card is detected).

Add SIM to safe SIM list

Adds the current SIM to the safe SIM list so that the phone does not auto-lock when this SIM is inserted.
Note: Whenever the phone is unlocked from the WaveSecure Lite screen lock then the current SIM in the phone is automatically added into the safe SIM list.
